PhD Fellowship on Global Health Partnerships Structure

About the role
The Department of Public Health at the University of Copenhagen is offering a three‑year PhD fellowship to investigate the structure and implementation of global health partnerships. The fellow will join the Global Health Section and collaborate closely with partners in Denmark, India and Kenya.
Key responsibilities
- Design and conduct an independent research project using the Partnership for Education of Health Professionals (PEP) as a case study.
- Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data from partner sites in India and/or Kenya.
- Contribute to capacity‑strengthening activities, evaluation and learning within the PEP‑UCPH project.
- Present findings at international conferences and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams across the Department of Public Health and the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in public health, global health, health policy, or a related field.
- Strong interest in health workforce, health professions education, and partnership dynamics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural research team.
