On-Call Houseman

About the role

The Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Copenhagen is looking for an organised, hands-on houseman to work on call. Housemen prepare meeting and function rooms and look after guests' needs so that events run smoothly. The position is part-time.

Key responsibilities

• Set up meeting and function rooms before guest arrival according to departmental standards and guest specifications.
• Keep the assigned meeting and function rooms, and the public meeting and event space, running smoothly at all times.
• Welcome guests and assist in the cloakroom.
• Help guests with miscellaneous requests such as changing a room setup or delivering extra meeting materials.
• Act as runner for the M&E guest to make sure they have everything they need.

Required profile

• Excellent team player with strong communication skills and a passion for a great customer experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Fluent English as a minimum; fluency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
• Enjoys a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends.
