Microsoft Operations Engineer

About the role

Netcompany is looking for a Microsoft Operations Engineer to join its Operations team, which covers application operations and infrastructure management across two data centers. The team is small and highly skilled, focused on optimizing large, complex enterprise Microsoft environments. The role spans the whole lifecycle, from proposal development and project delivery to daily operations, troubleshooting and performance tuning, and acts as a key link between development teams and infrastructure specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, operate and maintain environments and applications based on Microsoft technologies, Java, SQL and other modern platforms.
• Configure, troubleshoot and optimize systems in a technically demanding environment, with ownership of specific systems and technologies.
• Automate and streamline operational tasks through scripting and programming.
• Take part in ongoing operations projects, owning tasks that match your experience and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, software, IT or a similar field, or an equivalent level of qualification.
• Motivation to deliver high-quality business-critical and mission-critical solutions.
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance from the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET); employment depends on this.
