Business Consultant - Banking and Investment

About the role

Netcompany Banking Services delivers IT solutions and services to banks and savings institutions across Denmark and other Nordic countries, including a cloud-based core banking platform used by more than 50 Nordic banks. As a Business Consultant, you will specialise in banking and investment, collaborating with clients and colleagues to design IT solutions and develop expertise in investment processes and corporate actions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse clients' business needs and turn them into IT solutions in the banking and investment domain
• Map business processes and run workshops with clients to identify needs, challenges and optimisation opportunities
• Support the analysis and design of solutions related to investment processes
• Work with colleagues and clients on solution design, testing, refinement and implementation, including user involvement, training and change management
• Build domain knowledge through project experience and knowledge sharing, growing into a subject matter expert over time

Required profile

• Recent graduate or a few years of experience, ideally at the intersection of IT, business and organisation
• Relevant master's degree such as Cand.merc. IT, Cand.it. or a similar degree combining finance and IT
• Genuine interest in IT and digitalisation, preferably with an interest in finance, banking, investment or financial services
• Interest in or basic experience with investment-related processes such as corporate actions; previous banking or investment experience is an advantage but not required
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken)
