About the role

Coloplast’s Master Thesis Program offers final‑stage master students the chance to combine academic research with hands‑on experience in a global healthcare company. This project focuses on how Quality Assurance can proactively support decision‑making in complex innovation projects through risk‑informed approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Explore how quality risk management can be used as a proactive decision‑support mechanism in innovation projects.
• Investigate current practices for identifying, interpreting, communicating and applying risk information in project governance.
• Assess how Generative AI and other digital tools can enhance risk‑related knowledge synthesis and communication.
• Develop practical recommendations and frameworks to strengthen risk‑informed decision‑making within the Quality Innovation Value Stream.

Required profile

• Study background in Risk Management, Quality Management, Engineering Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Strategy or Organizational Studies.
• Interest in decision‑making, organizational behavior, risk management, quality systems and digital transformation.
• Strong qualitative or mixed‑method research skills and ability to translate analysis into practical recommendations.
