Key Account Manager – Shipping Customers

About the role

ICM, a safety equipment supplier founded in 1970 and part of Bunzl Nordic, helps companies prevent work injuries and offers personal protective equipment, workwear and technical safety gear together with advice, training and service. As Key Account Manager you will take responsibility for some of ICM's largest customers, build close relationships and develop concrete plans for future cooperation. You start with a thorough handover of the shipping customer portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own your own customer portfolio, building trust through face-to-face visits and becoming the customer's preferred partner
• Analyse purchase patterns and churn, and create development and forecast plans for existing and new strategic customers
• Coordinate across the organisation, negotiate offers and framework agreements so customers experience a single, coherent partnership
• Work on analysis, forecasting and cross-functional coordination, involving colleagues when opportunities need more effort

Required profile

• Experience in key account management developing larger, existing customer relationships
• Ability to drive progress through close dialogue and systematic follow-up
• Structured, analytical and persistent; good listener who also takes initiative
• Strong negotiator used to large framework agreements where price, quality, compliance and sustainability matter
