Head of Technology Maturation

About the role

Lead a newly established team of 13 polymer specialists at Coloplast’s headquarters in Humlebæk. The role sets strategic direction for material technology areas and drives the development and maturation of technologies that support products for intimate health‑care needs. You will also join the Technology Development leadership team, influencing strategic decisions and strengthening future technology development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, guide and support the team, ensuring individual and collective performance and development.
• Build constructive dialogue with project managers and stakeholders to position the team for contribution and growth.
• Keep the team oriented towards new technologies, methods and knowledge sources to strengthen the technology pipeline.
• Encourage engagement with external collaboration partners to identify and act on new opportunities.

Required profile

• Solid leadership experience with a genuine motivation to develop people and teams.
• Good technical understanding that enables grasp of the professional elements of the team’s projects and challenges.
• Experience with early technology development and technology pipelines, preferably within the life‑science sector.
