Finance Business Partner – Ocean Cost Program

About the role

Join Maersk’s Ocean Cost & Trades Finance team to drive cost competitiveness across the Ocean business. You will partner with workstream leads, analyse financial data and support the delivery of strategic cost initiatives over a 24‑month fixed‑term project.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify, evaluate and track cost optimisation initiatives, providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Drive transparency on program performance through reporting of financial impact, progress and risk analysis.
• Support program governance, including consolidation of initiatives, preparation of SteerCo materials and coordination across workstreams.
• Collaborate with Ocean, Operations and Finance teams to ensure accountability, communicate outcomes and foster continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in finance business partnering, performance management or project coordination.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data, identify risks and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills, and proven stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced financial analysis and commercial acumen.
• Proficiency with data‑driven decision‑making tools and a digital mindset (interest in AI, automation and new technologies).
