Category Manager – Payment Solutions

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Category Manager for Payment Solutions to join its Indirect Procurement team within Asset Strategy & Strategic Partnerships. The role will drive global payment solutions and digitise the Payment Vehicles and Travel program.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and support global payment solutions across Maersk entities.
• Lead procurement and implementation of digital payment solutions such as corporate cards and virtual payments.
• Identify and deploy best‑in‑class payment technologies and strategies.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure alignment on payment programs and policies.
• Engage with suppliers and partners to deliver value and innovation.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in payments, fintech, or banking within a global organisation.
• Strong knowledge of global payment products and strategies.
• Proven project management and implementation experience.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functions.
