Director of Open Finance Product Operations

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Director to lead Product Operations for its Open Finance platform in Europe. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, delivery and commercial teams, ensuring that Open Finance solutions are reliable, performant and scale across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse customer conversion, activation, usage and performance metrics for Open Finance solutions, identifying friction points and translating insights into actionable improvements.
• Lead operational oversight of bank connectivity across European markets, triaging issues, coordinating cross‑functional response and driving long‑term resilience.
• Own the end‑to‑end feedback loop from customer experience to product and operational enhancements, building repeatable playbooks for onboarding, performance monitoring and issue management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product operations or product management within the financial services or fintech sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data and drive data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, capable of working with engineering, delivery and commercial teams.

Required skills

• API integration and Open Banking standards (AIS, PIS).
• Performance monitoring and data analysis tools.
