Department Manager - H&M Kennedy Arkaden, Aalborg

About the role

H&M is looking for a Department Manager for its store at Kennedy Arkaden in Aalborg. The position is permanent, 37 hours per week, starting 1 January 2027. You must speak a Scandinavian language and English. Applications are processed continuously, so send your CV as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Lead your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience by ensuring Store Operations and Best Practices are followed in your department and the whole store.
• Take responsibility for your store's strengths, analyse sales results, identify commercial opportunities, set targets and plan to optimise sales and profit.
• Build a good team, support their development and work on succession planning, talent development and performance management.
• Recruit, onboard and develop your team in an inclusive environment where everyone feels seen and heard.
• Stay up to date on fashion trends, customer behaviour and competitors so your team can offer a relevant and inspiring shopping experience.
• Act as a positive representative of yourself and the brand in all customer interactions.

Required profile

• Experience leading and running retail operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Data-driven and customer-focused, using sales planning, analysis and follow-up.
• An inspiring leader who coaches and develops teams in line with H&M's values.
• Creative, analytical and result-oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Passionate about fashion trends and commerciality, with insight into customers and competitors.
