Controls Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Controls Cybersecurity Engineer to support our Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) initiatives and develop automation platforms based on Allen‑Bradley technology. The role blends hands‑on controls engineering with research, analysis and implementation of cybersecurity requirements for our food‑processing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and investigate CRA requirements applicable to JBT Marel equipment.
• Perform gap analyses between existing designs and CRA standards, and develop implementation guidelines.
• Define cybersecurity requirements for hardware, software, industrial networks, remote access and maintenance.
• Participate in risk assessments, produce compliance documentation and technical evidence packages.
• Develop, maintain and improve PLC and HMI software for Allen‑Bradley‑based equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience with PLC programming and industrial control systems, especially Allen‑Bradley platforms and Studio 5000.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP and OPC‑UA.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills, with fluency in English.
