Business Development Manager – Vision Care

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales of its Vision Care portfolio, including contact lenses, lens care solutions and dry‑eye products. Based in Denmark with a remote work arrangement, you will manage a territory of optical stores across Mid Jutland and Central Denmark, acting as the first point of contact for each account.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Alcon contact lenses and related care products to optical retailers.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with optical stores, providing product training and support.
• Develop and execute customized business plans aligned with customer needs.
• Coordinate promotional activities and communicate market insights to internal teams.
• Participate in Nordic sales meetings, optical fairs and exhibitions, including occasional weekend events.
• Achieve defined KPIs and sales objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer‑facing sales roles, preferably within optical or related FMCG sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with solid analytical and financial understanding.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and travel within the territory, including occasional overnight stays.
• Fluent Danish and good English communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
