Assistant Front of House Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Front of House Manager to support the Front of House Manager at Palazzo Diner in Copenhagen. You will help ensure smooth daily service, uphold our reputation, and step in to lead the floor when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the daily front‑of‑house service and team.
• Take charge of the floor in the manager’s absence.
• Maintain the restaurant’s appearance, standards, and reputation.
• Oversee drink preparation, ordering, and quality control of beverages and dishes.
• Plan equipment and ingredient orders based on identified shortages.
• Resolve service problems, arrange repairs with suppliers when required.
• Participate in hiring, training, and scheduling of front‑of‑house staff.
• Monitor workload, use data‑driven tools, and ensure compliance with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Commitment to a minimum of 12 months.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Interest in wine, cocktails, and Italian cuisine.
• Experience with budget or KPI management is a plus.
