AI Engineer

About the role

Heyra is building operational AI solutions that go from prototype to production. As an AI Engineer you will design, develop and ship AI systems that improve finance, operations and supply‑chain processes for fast‑moving companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI solutions across domains such as finance, operations and supply chain.
• Build predictive models, automated workflows and agentic systems, owning the data work behind them.
• Develop evaluation systems to measure agent performance and ensure production readiness.
• Lead client projects from problem definition through to production deployment.
• Integrate scalable AI services via APIs and cloud environments.

Required profile

• Experience in software development, ML or data engineering with production AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one agent framework or SDK.
• Hands‑on experience training ML models and preparing data pipelines.
• Ability to build or extend evaluation systems for agent behaviour.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end projects and managing stakeholders.
