Game Engineer – Tech Pod

About the role

Join SYBO’s Tech Pod to help keep Subway Surfers stable and innovative. You will work with engineers and other disciplines to develop systems, integrations, and technical foundations for one of the world’s most popular mobile games.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Unity, C# and native code systems, platform capabilities and SDK integrations for new features and content.
• Collaborate with engineers to take technical solutions from concept through implementation and release.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to the long‑term health of the codebase.
• Debug and resolve issues across Unity, native platform code, backend integrations and live systems.
• Integrate Subway Surfers with SYBO’s platform services and third‑party SDKs on iOS and Android.
• Contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines, tools, workflows and development practices, including Jenkins.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming, primarily C#.
• Solid experience developing mobile games in Unity.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• Experience writing native code for iOS and Android and integrating client applications with backend services and APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Agile methodologies.
