Actuary Consultant – Life, Accident and Risk Advisory

About the role

PwC is looking for an actuary consultant in its advisory practice in Copenhagen who can work across life, accident and risk. You will join a young, professional and social team with high ambitions, working on projects for clients both inside and outside the financial sector. The role combines consulting, analysis and quality assurance, and you will also contribute to fixed audit assignments for life and pension companies in the Nordic countries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review provisions and risk models
• Work on Solvency II and other relevant regulation
• Carry out analyses and tests linked to the implementation of new IT systems
• Contribute to due diligence, M&A support and industry analyses
• Share expertise through client dialogue, teaching and presentations

Required profile

• A relevant degree such as cand.act., cand.oec. or cand.scient. or equivalent
• About 3-4 years of relevant experience, though shorter experience is considered
• Clear communication in Danish and English, spoken and written
• Ability to handle responsibility, teamwork and varied tasks with a focus on quality
