Associate – Sustainability Assurance & Advisory Services, Aarhus

About the role

PwC is looking for an Associate to join its Sustainability Assurance & Advisory Services team in Aarhus. You will help strengthen confidence in some of Denmark's largest companies' sustainability reporting by reviewing and validating their reports while advising clients on sustainability initiatives. The team is split between Hellerup and Aarhus.

Key responsibilities

• A varied day with changing tasks and client types, working independently and alongside experienced colleagues
• Issuing opinions on ESG data, including CSRD reporting, voluntary sustainability reporting and related areas
• Advising clients preparing to start or improve their sustainability work, such as responsible investment, climate, circularity and value chain responsibility
• Contributing to one of the team's sustainability expertise areas, turning directives and regulations into practice

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in sustainability, either in a relevant position or as a student assistant, with a desire to develop further
• Degree in auditing, business, sustainability, engineering or similar
• Experience with CSRD, ESRS and the GHG Protocol
• Experience advising clients on sustainability-related tasks
• Strong communication skills in Danish and English, both spoken and written
• Ability to handle many tasks and stakeholders at once

Required skills

• Knowledge of and experience with AI
• Excel skills
• Preferred: experience with assurance on sustainability reporting, writing sustainability or carbon accounts, and a strong foundation in a specific sustainability area
