Actuarial Consultant – Life and Pensions IT Project

About the role

Netcompany is looking for an Actuarial Consultant in Copenhagen to join a specialised team working on a new, unified IT system for pension solutions in Denmark. The role sits at the intersection of actuarial mathematics and technical implementation, turning complex models and business logic into solutions that create value for clients and society.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement calculation models for life and pension products
• Ensure solutions comply with applicable legislation and standards
• Bridge the gap between actuarial expertise and technical implementation, including quality assurance and testing of pension products
• Contribute to the design and customisation of insurance and pension products within the solutions
• Communicate complex analyses and results to colleagues, developers, testers and clients
• Gain insight into different companies in the pensions industry and deliver large-scale IT projects
• Work closely with actuaries and pension experts at clients to build actuarial and pension capabilities at Netcompany

Required profile

• Recent graduate or a few years of relevant professional experience in actuarial mathematics
• Master's degree in actuarial science (cand.act.) or a similar relevant degree
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken
• A logical approach to handling large datasets and advanced models
