Managing Consultant (Director Level) - Financial Services

About the role

PA Consulting is hiring Managing Consultants (director level, just below Partner) for its growing financial services practice in Denmark. The role sits in the leadership team and is part of the sales effort, combining account leadership, proposition development and team leadership. It is a full-time position based in Copenhagen, working predominantly on client sites, with possible travel.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with financial services clients to identify challenges, develop solutions and drive implementation
• Advise senior executives on AI adoption, digital transformation, operational efficiency, risk management, sourcing strategy and more
• Lead project teams delivering high-quality solutions with measurable business impact
• Lead strategic accounts as chairperson
• Drive FS sales initiatives at MC level, especially IT and digital strategy, business transformation, architecture and corporate services
• Collaborate with colleagues across PA Consulting's global network

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree mandatory; a Master's in economics, engineering, IT, data science or a related field is highly preferred
• At least 8 years of management consulting experience focused on financial services, or a combined advisory career with internal managerial experience at a large client or corporate finance company
• Demonstrated success in strategy development, process improvement and technology implementation
• Verifiable sales experience is a prerequisite
• Fluency in Danish and English is mandatory; other languages are an advantage
