Quality Manager for Pituffik Space Base

About the role

Inussuk A/S, the maintainer of Pituffik Space Base, is seeking a Quality Manager to join the QA department. Reporting to the Program Director, the role supports daily program operations, monitors performance, analyses data, and drives improvements across all functional areas.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and weekly quality reports and deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct routine audits and inspections to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement and other directives.
• Track, document, and report quality levels and KPIs in collaboration with Operations.
• Use the Quality Management Information System (QMIS) to record Corrective Action Reports, Opportunities for Improvement, Self‑Inspection Reports, and audit findings.
• Act as the Quality representative in Corrective Action Working Groups, facilitating root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action planning.
• Communicate directly with United States Space Force Contracting Officer Representatives and respond to customer inquiries.
• Monitor QMIS to verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions and resolve outstanding deviations.
• Provide training on quality processes to managers and staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar quality management role.
• Strong computer proficiency and fluent English communication (spoken and written).
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Danish citizenship and a valid passenger‑car driver’s licence.
• Ability to meet strict health requirements and obtain a security clearance (clean criminal record).

Required skills

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with a Quality Management Information System (QMIS).
