Venture Scout – Part‑time Investment Sourcing

About the role

CVX Ventures is building a network of talented VC scouts to source attractive investment opportunities. As a Venture Scout you will work closely with the Investment Team, identifying promising startups and helping shape the future of growth companies. This is a part‑time, performance‑based role.

Key responsibilities

• Identify exciting startups in your specialist field and initiate conversations with founders.
• Conduct research on target companies, including team, market dynamics and competitive landscape.
• Prepare a 1‑2 page investment thesis memo summarising your findings.
• Present your proposal to the CVX Investment Team, either in‑person or online.

Required profile

• Strong passion for entrepreneurship and venture investing.
• Motivated, driven and eager to develop VC skills.
• Ability to analyse business models, markets and competition.
• Effective communication skills for presenting investment ideas.
