About the role

We are looking for a Security Officer to join the Sikringen department, a highly specialised unit caring for Denmark’s most treatment‑intensive psychiatric patients. The role supports clinical staff, contributes to a safe environment and helps create a calm, humane atmosphere for patients and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals with daily non‑clinical tasks.
• Maintain constant vigilance on safety and security throughout the facility.
• Participate in relationship‑building activities with patients.
• Be present and attentive during all shifts, ensuring personal visibility.

Required profile

• Calm authority and the ability to stay composed in complex situations.
• Empathetic communication, treating everyone without prejudice.
• Strong situational awareness and interest in people.
• Good physical condition and mental resilience.

Required skills

• Completed “Basic Guard” AMU course (or equivalent police/military police background).
• Valid Category B driver’s licence.
• Clean criminal record.
