Group Manager – Translational Molecular Imaging

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent scientific leader to manage the Cluster for Molecular Imaging within the Department of Biomedical Sciences. The role supports translational molecular imaging research and precision medicine initiatives, starting 15 August 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day research activities, personnel, and imaging infrastructure.
• Support ongoing translational projects, including clinical data, biological samples, and molecular analyses.
• Design, implement, and execute complex research initiatives across oncology, immuno‑oncology, cardiovascular and inflammatory disease areas.
• Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to scientific dissemination and mentor early‑career researchers.
• Develop and maintain research structures, data management, analytical and operational frameworks.

Required profile

• PhD in life sciences or a related field.
• Documented experience in clinical or translational research with multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Knowledge of molecular imaging and/or radiopharmaceutical research.
• Experience with scientific operations and regulatory frameworks (ethical approvals, data governance).
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects in parallel.
• Experience coordinating projects or personnel in a collaborative or matrix environment.
