Warehouse Worker – Goods Receiving

About the role

A growing company with customers and partners in Denmark, Scandinavia, Europe and Asia is looking for an experienced, responsible warehouse worker for its goods receiving at Sorøvej 8 in Slagelse. The position is hourly paid under the Industry Collective Agreement, with 37 hours per week excluding lunch. Quality, overview and accurate recording are central to the daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, count and check pallets, boxes and other goods
• Unpack and check for shipping damage
• Check goods on entry, including measuring and assessing them
• Digital registration, data entry and updating of stock status in IT systems
• Load and unload and move goods internally with a truck or forklift
• Empty containers and handle goods on site
• Deliver goods and help at other locations when needed
• Pick goods and other ad-hoc warehouse tasks

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in warehousing, goods receiving or logistics
• Valid car licence and a valid forklift certificate
• Good orderliness, structured and careful work, able to work independently and prioritise
• Comfortable working with IT systems and data recording
• English is required; German is an advantage but not mandatory
• Reliable, flexible and a good team player
• An advantage: experience with goods checking, measuring courses and reading drawings
