Tendering Specialist – Grid & Power Quality Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Tendering Specialist to join Hitachi Energy’s Grid & Power Quality Solutions team in Denmark. In this position you will combine technical knowledge of high‑voltage products with commercial acumen to drive the end‑to‑end tendering and quotation process for our customers across the power, renewable energy and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with global customers to identify upcoming opportunities and manage the pipeline, including lead‑time and planning considerations.
• Analyse Request for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs) and other tender documents to extract technical specifications and commercial terms.
• Prepare and submit competitive, accurate bids and proposals that align with customer requirements and Hitachi Energy’s strategy.
• Coordinate closely with sales, engineering, legal, project management and other internal functions to ensure high‑quality tender submissions.
• Continuously improve tender processes, documentation standards and collaboration practices.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear commercial offers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work with cross‑functional teams in Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
• Detail‑oriented and committed to delivering high‑quality work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience in tendering, bid management or proposal preparation for high‑voltage or energy‑related products.
• Familiarity with RFP and ITB analysis.
