Technician – Full-Automation Distribution Centre, Uldum

About the role

JYSK is looking for a technician for its fully automated distribution centre in Uldum, which covers more than 400 stores and online customers across Denmark, Norway, England, Ireland, the Netherlands and Belgium. You will help keep the complex, fully automated facility running optimally so that deliveries can be made quickly, working alongside a team of about 30 colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the fully automated facility runs optimally and contributes to high delivery performance
• Provide service and maintenance on one of Scandinavia's largest fully automated distribution centres
• Diagnose faults in complex electrical and mechanical systems
• Take part in optimisation and operation tasks
• Maintain and repair Denmark's tallest high-bay cranes
• Handle ad hoc tasks

Required profile

• A relevant technical education, such as electrician, automation technician, mechanic or machine operator
• Willingness to cooperate and share experience at all levels
• Experience troubleshooting automatic and electrical installations is welcome
• Practical, solution-oriented approach and comfort working at height

Required skills

• Experience reading drawings, such as layout drawings and electrical documentation, is welcome
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
