Store Supervisor - Streetwear & Sneakers

About the role

JD Sports is looking for a new Supervisor for its store in Aarhus. The Supervisor ensures the team gives customers the best possible service, helps maximise store profitability by exceeding sales targets and using in-store devices, supports the Senior Management with store standards and guidelines, trains new team members and helps with administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: lead by example, acknowledge customers, guide them to suitable stock and alternatives, inform them of new or future stock, and encourage repeat visits.
• Sales: attend to and sell to as many customers as possible, handle several customers at once, know the layout of all stock, follow promotions and presentations, introduce accessories and accept help from colleagues.
• Visual merchandising: keep the shop floor clean and well-stocked, ensure products are priced correctly and keep displays up to date.
• General: follow company rules and dress code, keep stock areas and staff facilities tidy, help unload deliveries and move or shelf stock, and deputise for other staff.
• Additional duties: help induct new sales staff, supervise and train junior staff, and assist with security procedures and administration.

Required profile

• Experience as a team leader and a love of motivating colleagues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, confident and outgoing.
• Effective selling skills.
