Sommelier – New Restaurant GALLERY

About the role

The new restaurant GALLERY at Great Northern in Kerteminde is looking for a Sommelier who wants to help shape its wine experience from the start. Wine should be a natural part of the overall experience: professionally strong and well thought out, but delivered personally and without unnecessary formality. You will join the restaurant team and work closely with both kitchen and restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Wine service and personal hospitality
• Wine menus and pairing of wine with food
• Development and maintenance of the wine list
• Stock management and daily wine structure
• Sharing knowledge and developing the restaurant team
• Contributing to the overall guest experience

Required profile

• Strong interest in wine, gastronomy and hospitality
• Solid experience as a Sommelier, or on the way there professionally
• Curious, serious about your craft and eager to develop further

Great Northern is an experience resort in Kerteminde with 67 hotel rooms, a restaurant, meeting facilities, golf, spa and performance centre.
