Solution Architect – Digital Platforms

About the role

Design the digital backbone of a global aviation business. As a Solution Architect you will shape the technology landscape for a world‑leader in aviation, ensuring our digital platforms are scalable, secure and ready for future challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end solutions across e‑commerce, API ecosystems and AI‑driven services.
• Collaborate with fellow architects to define and enforce architectural standards.
• Define integration patterns for SAP, SAP BTP and external systems.
• Provide technology guidance on build‑vs‑buy‑vs‑reuse decisions aligned with Airbus/Satair standards.
• Enable product teams, developers and vendors with hands‑on architectural support.
• Identify emerging technologies to drive business value and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in solution architecture or senior engineering roles (C2/C3 level) within complex enterprises.
• Deep hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, especially SAP BTP, and modern API‑first architectures.
• Background with large‑scale digital platforms such as e‑commerce portals or partner ecosystems.
• Strong collaborative mindset to work with other architects and technical leads.
• Excellent analytical ability to translate business needs into technical blueprints.
• Professional fluency in English.
