Senior SDET - NG-SIEM (Hybrid)

About the role

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for its NG-SIEM Product Group. NG-SIEM is a cloud-native, real-time security information and event management solution built on the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, and the role owns the distributed test and release automation that ensures the quality of the platform. The position is hybrid, based on site in Aarhus, Denmark, with 2-3 days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of a scalable and efficient automated testing architecture.
• Build and guide end-to-end release automation for all releasable entities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, operations teams, the release management team and other stakeholders.
• Act as a technical and thought leader for quality assurance practices.
• Lead by example in a hands-on coding environment, navigating ambiguity and delivering innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale test automation frameworks.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of SDETs.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows and efficiency.

Required skills

• Expert-level proficiency in one or more languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java or C#.
• Testing tools and best practices such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG and Cucumber.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies (behavioral, functional, performance, unit, security, contract) and agile methods.
• Bonus points: large-scale log management products, cybersecurity products, Go, Kafka, GraphQL, Kubernetes.
