Intern QA Engineer (Software Tester)

About the role

Merkle, a Dentsu company and a leader in data-driven customer experience management, is looking for a Software Tester (QA) intern in Aarhus for Spring 2027. The internship is full-time, runs from mid-January for 3-4 months and includes time to work on a project with Merkle. It is unpaid, but offers social events, learning opportunities and free breakfast and lunch.

You will join a team of QA, back-end and front-end developers and clients, with a mentor helping you onboard and feel ready for the tasks. The internship is fixed term and on site.

Key responsibilities

• Test frontend and backend applications
• Develop test automation in Ruby
• Report bugs and defects and find solutions with the team
• Carry out exploratory testing of the solutions
• Define test cases and cooperate with clients and the team

• Relevant education in IT and software development
• Curious and willing to learn
• Engaging and open, able to work independently and in teams
• Thorough, professional and quality-minded
