Senior Digital Advisory Manager

About the role

NTU International, an international consulting firm delivering programme management and advisory services for development projects, is expanding its Digital Transformation, Innovation and ICT Advisory portfolio. It is looking for an experienced, motivated and results-oriented Senior Digital Advisory Manager to support business development, technical proposal preparation and the implementation of digital consultancy assignments. The role can be based at the NTU office in Aalborg, Denmark, or remotely within the European Union.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess ICT advisory, digital transformation and technology consultancy opportunities under EU framework contracts and international programmes.
• Analyse Terms of Reference, technical specifications, institutional context, deliverables and technical feasibility.
• Assess staffing, delivery arrangements and commercial viability, and contribute to bid/no-bid decisions.
• Lead technical methodologies, work plans, resource estimates and staffing arrangements, and translate ICT requirements into activities, deliverables and budgets.
• Work with the bid and finance teams to prepare compliant technical and financial submissions.
• Manage awarded ICT advisory and transformation projects, coordinating multidisciplinary experts and subcontractors, and monitor deliverables, schedules, budgets and quality.
• Contribute to positioning, new services, partnerships, the commercial pipeline and project references.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in ICT advisory, digital transformation or technology consulting.
• Demonstrated experience preparing technical proposals for public-sector ICT consultancy assignments.
• Experience managing ICT consultants, technical specialists and/or technology subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of ICT systems, software platforms, system integration and public-sector digital transformation.
• Ability to prepare methodologies, work plans, staffing estimates, resource allocations and budgets.
• Fluent spoken and written English (minimum C1); working knowledge of French is an advantage.
• Advantageous: direct experience with DG DIGIT or EU agencies, experience with HACS, BEACON or comparable EU ICT advisory contracts, an established European network of ICT experts, familiarity with EU digital policy and AI governance, and experience with EU-funded assignments, EIB or the World Bank.

Required skills

• Project management, analytical, organisational, communication and negotiation skills, with commercial awareness and independence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
