Senior Cyber Security Partner - Research & Development

About the role

Novo Nordisk is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Partner to join its Security Partners team in the Research & Development (R&D) area, within Enterprise IT & Quality. You will be the trusted security advisor for R&D, helping embed cyber security into how R&D works, decides and develops, and acting as the bridge between R&D and Cyber Security.

Key responsibilities

• Translate current and emerging cyber risks into clear, practical advice and support informed business decisions.
• Advise on security threats and risks, including those linked to external collaboration, AI-enabled applications and the protection and sharing of research data.
• Contribute to cyber security strategies that reflect the realities and objectives of R&D.
• Promote security being considered early in projects, working closely with the R&D Business Information Security Officer (BISO).
• Collaborate with vendors, consultants and authorities to keep security work moving forward.
• Report to the Director of Cyber Risk and Resilience.

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience in cyber security, information security, IT risk or related fields in a large or complex organisation.
• Experience advising on cyber security risks in R&D environments, including external collaboration, AI applications and research data protection.
• Ability to connect security risk to business objectives and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
• Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; full professional English, Danish an advantage.

Required skills

• Understanding of IT and/or OT and security frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001.
• Stakeholder management, communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to work with external parties such as vendors, consultants and authorities.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA are useful but not essential.

What we offer

• Annual base salary ranging from 847,000 to 1,245,100 DKK, depending on skills and experience.
• The package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives and other benefits.
