About the role
Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Senior Business-oriented Data Analytics Engineer to act as a trusted partner for business stakeholders, enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the Drug Development domain. The role is based in Hellerup, Denmark and works within a global, cross‑functional team.
Key responsibilities
- Understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
- Design and develop data products that drive business value and decisions.
- Explore and transform complex data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate across teams to build end‑to‑end solutions while ensuring compliance with data governance and quality standards.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, with proven ability to turn business requirements into data products.
- Pharma domain knowledge is a plus.
Required skills
- DevOps, Databricks, dbt, Python, T‑SQL.
- Power BI or similar BI platforms.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality and compliance.
