Security Guard – Kalundborg

About the role

Site Security Kalundborg is looking for an engaged colleague who takes responsibility, collaborates and helps improve site security. As the first point of contact for employees, visitors and guests, you handle security and service tasks from the main entrance together with the whole company. You work on day shifts with several colleagues and on other shifts independently, in a team with experienced colleagues and strong autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Basic security work focused on prevention and enforcement of site rules
• Visual access control, including spot checks and visible presence at entrances
• Registering staff, visitors and deliveries and coordinating raw material transport
• Rounds, safety patrols and parking control
• Handling security, emergency and environmental incidents according to procedures
• Service tasks supporting both security and daily operations
• Improving current setups, processes and security solutions through a responsible group

Required profile

• Experience with duty centre, gate and guard tasks is required
• Fluent Danish, spoken and written, and understandable English
• Team player who shares knowledge and works independently
• Flexible, service-minded and willing to take initiative and follow up
• Driving licence for a car and a clean criminal record
• At least 9th grade education with at least 7 in Danish and mathematics and 4 in English
• Documentation of school education and further education with the application

Required skills

• Familiarity with IT and willingness to work with alarm systems
• Advantageous: guard training or experience from the Defence or emergency services
• Advantageous: first aid, conflict handling, use of force and writing SOPs

What we offer

• Permanent full-time position with three rotating shifts (day 06:00–14:15, evening 14:15–22:15, night 22:15–06:00) and weekend work; a flexible shift option 07:00–15:30 is also available
• Hourly base pay of 226.30 DKK under the IO collective agreement, with possible shift allowance, overtime pay, education allowance, paid days off and seniority allowance
