Quality Engineer – 9-Month Fixed-Term Position

About the role

West Pharmaceutical Services is hiring a Quality Engineer in Horsens, reporting to the Leader of the QA Operations Department. The QA Operations team consists of 15 people, and the role involves both academic and practical work on quality development, with involvement in new QA initiatives and interaction with Danish and global QA colleagues, as well as production and technical departments. This is a 9-month fixed-term position.

Key responsibilities

• Handle deviations and ensure that improvements are implemented
• Take part in clarifying problems and influencing the resolution of deviations
• Maintain close contact with production so that improvement proposals are carried out in practice
• Approve change cases and validations of equipment and processes in production, if you have prior experience
• Make decisions on product-critical challenges and follow up on quality-related actions
• Support the appropriate quality level of the products and help colleagues develop a quality mindset

Required profile

• Degree in chemical engineering, M.Sc. (cand.scient.) or pharmacist
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred; experience in food or chemical industry may also be relevant
• Experience in GMP production or a similarly highly regulated industry
• Current experience in a similar position

The annual base salary range is DKK 503,300 to DKK 640,600, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, location and scope of the role. Variable compensation and benefits may apply according to local plans.
