Property Maintenance Technician – Copenhagen

About the role

Heimstaden is looking for a property maintenance technician (syns- og servicetekniker) for properties in Copenhagen and Greater Copenhagen. You will work hands-on on your own properties, meet residents and follow up on their condition, with a varied day and a lot of independence. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out move-in and move-out inspections
• Document faults, missing items and renovation needs
• Perform small service tasks for residents, such as fixing a running tap, a non-working radiator or adjusting a window
• Regularly check your properties and common areas
• Follow up on external partners such as stair cleaning, green spaces and exterior maintenance
• Coordinate tradespeople and follow up on quality and completed work
• Maintain contact with residents and ensure a good experience

Required profile

• Trained property maintenance technician or a trade background such as carpenter, mason, painter, plumber or similar
• Good technical and practical understanding
• Works independently and in an organised way, with attention to quality and responsibility
• Comfortable with IT and documentation
• Treats residents, colleagues and partners respectfully
• Danish spoken and written, and able to communicate in English
