Project Manager – External Projects Focus

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead external projects focused on decanter, evaporation and combined technologies for industrial and municipal wastewater. The role is based in Copenhagen and offers a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and own external projects involving decanter, evaporation and combined wastewater technologies, ensuring alignment with goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, coordinate internal teams, vendors and subcontractors, and monitor progress.
• Identify risks, create mitigation strategies, and manage scope, schedule and cost changes.
• Oversee installation of equipment, enforce safety and quality standards, and implement quality control measures.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including specifications, drawings and technical records.

• Strong communicator and problem‑solver able to inspire and guide diverse stakeholders.
• Adaptable professional with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to anticipate challenges and ensure high quality delivery.

Required skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience on customer projects.
• Experience managing external stakeholders, vendors and subcontractors.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of decanter, evaporation and combined technology systems for industrial and municipal wastewater.
