Product Sustainability Assessment Specialist

About the role

Coloplast is seeking an experienced Product Sustainability Assessment professional to strengthen its product sustainability evidence and translate environmental impact into better product decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and continuously improve life cycle assessments (LCAs) and product environmental impact assessments, ensuring robust methodologies and transparent assumptions.
• Maintain and enhance Coloplast’s LCA methodologies, assessment tools, environmental datasets and emission factors.
• Support quality assurance of product‑related Scope 3 emission accounting, product KPI progress and other sustainability metrics.
• Provide environmental impact evidence and practical tools to support product development, portfolio decisions and sustainability integration.
• Define data requirements, quality standards and validation approaches for supplier environmental data.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, sustainability, materials science or a related technical field.
• At least three years of experience in life cycle assessment, environmental footprinting or sustainability analytics.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with LCA platforms such as SimaPro, Sphera or OpenLCA.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14040/44, ISO 14067, PEF and related environmental assessment frameworks.
• Ability to work with complex datasets, emission factors and modelling assumptions.
