Permit and Closeout Manager

About the role

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Permit and Closeout Manager (Project Closeout and Compliance Lead) in construction in Fredericia. The role oversees the final phase of a project, managing the transition from construction to handover, driving regulatory compliance, quality control and securing all final documentation. It suits a highly organised person with a keen eye for detail and strong stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, track and maintain the Environmental and Building Permits Compliance matrix
• Ensure all staff comply with the requirements and that all Danish compliance requirements are met for the project
• Ensure all communications follow the confidentiality agreements in place
• Lead the closeout of the project and manage the handover of documentation to the Operations teams
• Track and report warranty information for a large Data Center project
• Transfer all closeout documentation to the internal client tools and systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders, host and lead meetings, and manage interfaces with change control during construction between design and construction teams
• Create presentations and reports on progress

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
• Typically 5+ years of experience in project management or construction supervision, focused on the closeout phase
• 5 years of focused Data Centre construction experience
• Fluent English
• Willingness to work 5 days a week on the construction site
• Team attitude, self-motivation and willingness to support other groups and projects

• Exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail and negotiation skills
• Preferred: knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations and zoning laws
