About the role

Norconsult is looking for an experienced structural engineer to join its construction department in Herlev. You will work on complex building projects from early design phases through to the final solution, collaborating closely with project managers, specialists and other consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Design load‑bearing structures in cooperation with project leaders and other advisors.
• Prepare static calculations, structural principles and technical documentation.
• Ensure high quality through coordination, quality assurance and technical clarifications.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration with installations, fire safety, sustainability and project management.

Required profile

• Civil or diploma engineer specialized in load‑bearing structures.
• 5‑8 years of relevant experience in consulting, construction or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, timber, masonry and/or foundation constructions.
• Familiarity with BR18, Eurocodes and current documentation practices for structural works.
