About the role

Norconsult is looking for a department head for its electrical division in Herlev. You will lead a strong, dynamic team, drive professional development and ensure high‑quality electrical design across projects and locations.

Key responsibilities

• Overall professional responsibility for the electrical department nationwide.
• Organise technical days and meetings for electrical colleagues across the country.
• Ensure high quality in design, documentation and deliverables.
• Develop and implement technical standards and best practices.
• Translate new legislation and standards into practical work.
• Support knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
• Carry out electrical design on a variety of projects.

Required profile

• Qualified electrical engineer or electrician.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical consulting and design.
• In‑depth knowledge of current standards and legislation for electrical installations and energy solutions.
• Experience with complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Motivated by professional development and mentoring others.
• Responsible with strong collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering and installation design.
• Knowledge of Danish electrical standards and legislation.
• Experience with EV charging stations, solar PV systems and battery energy storage (BESS).
