Data Scientist – FP&A (Predictive Modeling & AI)

About the role

OrderYOYO is looking for a driven Data Scientist to join its FP&A team. You will work directly with senior leadership, turning business questions into predictive models and AI‑driven insights that shape strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, validate, and explain predictive models (classification, regression, time‑series forecasting, churn analysis) that feed into core business processes.
• Apply NLP and large language models to accelerate analytical workflows, including prompting, fine‑tuning, and deployment.
• Deliver model outputs through Power BI reports on the Microsoft Fabric data platform for management and stakeholders.
• Design and analyse commercial experiments such as A/B tests, hypothesis‑driven investigations, and causal inference studies.
• Support scenario analysis to inform high‑level strategic decisions.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or analytics engineering, preferably in SaaS, marketplace, or subscription businesses.
• Proven track record of building predictive models that are used in production or by business users.
• Strong problem‑solving ability to translate open questions into testable hypotheses or well‑scoped modeling problems.

Required skills

• Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, XGBoost)
• Natural Language Processing and Large Language Model experience
• Power BI and Microsoft Fabric data platform
• Experience with A/B testing and causal inference methods
