Commercial Director – Denmark

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Director to lead our Danish office in Copenhagen, driving growth, profitability and building a high‑performance sales organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and lead‑generation system.
• Drive sales performance, consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
• Recruit, develop and lead a top‑class sales team as the business scales.
• Ensure long‑term profitability through commercial expertise and strategic pricing.
• Participate in budgeting, set organisational goals and monitor KPIs.
• Develop strategic partnerships and key client relationships.
• Represent CVX Ventures at events, conferences and networking gatherings.
• Collaborate closely with other senior leaders and report directly to the CEO.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in venture capital, high‑growth startups or fast‑paced environments.
• Proven track record of achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
• Strong commercial instinct with a natural ability to sell and build relationships.
• High work ethic, sense of urgency and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
• Hands‑on leader able to inspire and motivate high‑performance teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills at management and board level.
• Humility and passion for building new companies.
• Fluent in Danish and English, with a network in the Danish startup ecosystem.
