Technical Project Manager – Vessel & Cargo Connectivity

About the role

A.P. Moller-Maersk is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join its Fleet Digital Infrastructure & Connectivity Enablement team within Fleet Management and Technology. You will help deliver the digital infrastructure and connectivity solutions that make the fleet more connected, efficient and future-ready, working at the intersection of maritime operations, technology, automation and project delivery. The team covers vessel connectivity, onboard IoT, remote monitoring, energy efficiency and decarbonization, and works with vessel owners, technical managers, shipyards and technology vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple vessel technology implementation projects from initiation through deployment.
• Drive project planning, execution, risk management and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinate activities across vessel owners, technical managers, vendors, shipyards and internal stakeholders.
• Translate operational and business requirements into clear technical scopes and implementation plans.
• Capture lessons learned and best practices and incorporate them into future deployments.
• Contribute to the long-term roadmap for vessel digital infrastructure and connectivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, telecommunications, marine engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience managing technical projects, programs or product implementations.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of electrical systems, automation systems, telecommunications, vessel systems or industrial infrastructure.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, with excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative mindset focused on team success.
• Experience in maritime, industrial, energy, infrastructure or technology environments is an advantage.
