System Architect – Drive next‑generation medical device platforms

About the role

Coloplast is seeking a Senior System Architect to define the architectural foundations of future medical device product families and platforms. You will work at the intersection of product development, manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive platform strategy for a dedicated business area, enabling reusable assets and accelerated product delivery.
• Decompose architecture into system capabilities, subsystems, interfaces, and building blocks.
• Establish and maintain architecture documentation, system boundaries, and interface definitions.
• Identify opportunities for reuse, standardisation, modularisation and scalability.
• Facilitate trade‑offs across business, technical, manufacturing, quality, regulatory and user perspectives.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in Systems Architecture or Systems Engineering for complex multidisciplinary products.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and create alignment across functions.
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, life‑science, aerospace or similar.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines.
