Student Worker - Ultrasound Software Testing

About the role

GE Healthcare's Product Engineering team is looking for a student worker to support the development and verification of ultrasound systems. Working mainly within the System Test team, you will contribute to engineering projects and collaborate with experts across Product Engineering, gaining exposure to different functions and technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution and documentation of system tests
• Support development and improvement of test specifications
• Create and follow up on defect reports
• Assist with investigating and reproducing issues
• Provide test input for new features in cross-functional teams
• Take part in stand-ups, sprint planning and technical discussions
• Maintain test equipment, setups and documentation
• Analyse and structure test data and results
• Build knowledge of products, technologies, development processes and ways of working

Required profile

• Active student status
• BSc/MSc in Biomedical Engineering, Health Technology, Software Technology or a related field
• Fluent in English
• Available 10-15 hours per week, ideally for 2-3 years
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
