About the role

PwC is looking for a Tax Advisor to join its Deals Tax team, working on some of the market’s most complex transactions. The role is based in Aarhus (with activities also in Hellerup) and involves advising Danish and international clients on acquisitions, disposals and restructurings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide corporate tax advice on dividends, financing, group taxation, restructurings, incentive programmes and exit planning.
• Conduct tax due‑diligence for mergers and acquisitions, identifying risks and assessing impacts on price, guarantees and structure.
• Design tax‑efficient transaction structures for purchases, sales, carve‑outs, refinancings and cross‑border deals.
• Collaborate directly with clients and their advisors during meetings and negotiations.
• Work together with PwC colleagues in tax, legal and financial advisory across Denmark and abroad.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably from an audit firm, law firm, tax authority or similar.
• Relevant academic background such as cand.merc.jur., cand.jur., cand.merc.aud. or equivalent.
• Curious, responsible and eager to learn in a high‑complexity environment.
• Motivated to apply tax knowledge to transactions, restructurings and strategic decisions.

Required skills

• Strong foundation in corporate tax legislation and practice.
• Ability to analyse tax implications of complex transactions.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
