About the role

PwC Legal is expanding its financial services practice in Copenhagen. The senior legal professional will shape and lead the intersection of law, regulation and business advisory for financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow PwC Legal’s financial practice – academically, commercially and organisationally.
• Lead complex advisory projects covering financial regulation, compliance, governance and supervisory cooperation.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration with PwC’s Financial Services, Assurance, Tax and Advisory teams.
• Advise clients on EU and Danish regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II, NIS2, DORA, AML/CFT, Solvency II, IDD and CSRD.
• Coordinate project delivery, ensure quality and act as the primary client contact.
• Contribute to business development by building new client relationships and positioning PwC Legal in the market.
• Coach and develop junior lawyers and promote knowledge sharing across the team.

Required profile

• Experienced lawyer with deep expertise in financial regulation.
• Proven ability to set strategic direction and lead multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong leadership and client‑facing skills.
• Fluent in Danish and English.
